TPA Releases One-Pager on the Impacts of “Liberation Day” Tariffs

Today, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) released a Background Fact Sheet on the impacts of President Trump’s so called “Liberation Day” tariffs. As the Executive Branch continues to abandon America’s commitment to free trade, TPA encourages lawmakers to reassert the legislative branch’s role on trade policy. These trade measures represent one of the largest tax hikes on American taxpayers in history and could cause extensive economic damage.
