TPA Urges Senate Subcommittee to Support FirstNet Reauthorization Ahead of February 2027 Expiration

Congress continues to debate the reauthorization of FirstNet with an oversight hearing scheduled for Tuesday in the Senate Commerce Telecommunications & Media Subcommittee. The wireless network built exclusively for first responders in the wake of 9/11 has unwavering support from public safety associations, who are lining up to support the reauthorization past its current expiration date of February 2027.
