TPA Leads Coalition Letter to State Legislators Opposing Age Verification

On Monday, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance led a coalition of 16 organizations sending a letter to state lawmakers in opposition to age verification mandates. The letter notes the unconstitutional burdens that such mandates place on the rights of adults, and the ample court precedent that has found them to be unconstitutional. It is of the utmost importance to keep children safe online, the coalition argued, but unconstitutional, big-government mandates are not the proper way forward.
