Last week, TPA research director David McGarry talked to Americans for Prosperity’s Kurt Couchman about Kurt’s forthcoming book, Fiscal Democracy in America: How a Balanced Budget Amendment Can Restore Sound Governance. They discuss how the federal government got into its present fiscal quagmire and the reforms, both fiscal and political, that are badly needed to fix the problem.
