TPA Submits Comments to the IRS Opposing Proposed Regulations on Business Partnerships

Last week, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) submitted comments to the Internal Revenue Service urging the agency to abandon regulatory actions that would impose significant compliance costs on many American businesses. Moreover, the IRS’s actions likely exceed its statutory authority, and TPA encouraged the agency to reverse course and to remain faithful to congressional intent.
