TPA to Host Virtual Panel, ‘The State of the Federal Budget’ with Special Guest, Sen. Rand Paul

Washington, D.C. – The Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) will host a panel on Thursday, June 9^th, 2022, at 9:15am ET to discuss the state of the federal budget. TPA’s Executive Director, Patrick Hedger, will be joined by special guest, Senator Rand Paul (R-K.Y.); Demian Brady, Vice President of Research at National Taxpayers Union; Nan Swift, Resident Fellow, Governance Program at R Street Institute; and Hannah Cox, Content Manager at the Foundation for Economic Education.

With continued government overspending, record inflation, and economic instability, it’s essential that Congress takes action to balance the federal budget. Senator Rand Paul has introduced his “Six Penny Plan” that will balance the federal budget in five years. Common-sense solutions like these are necessary and essential to protect taxpayer dollars. Following the panel discussion, Q&A will be open for attendees.
