TPA ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, DIRECTOR OF TELECOM POLICY, AND PRESS SECRETARY TO TEAM

Washington, D.C.—The Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Hedger from Vice President of Policy to Executive Director, and Johnny Kampis from Investigative Journalist to Director of Telecom Policy. TPA is excited to announce the addition of Abigail Graham as the new Press Secretary.

“Having been with the company for over a year, I am honored and grateful to be named as Executive Director,” stated Patrick Hedger. “I’m appreciative of David Williams for allowing me the opportunity to serve in this role. Through holding government accountable and putting America’s best interests at hand, I’m excited for what we will accomplish at TPA in the years to come.”

Patrick Hedger is Executive Director at TPA. Prior to joining TPA, Patrick was a Research Fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Center for Technology and Innovation and also served as Director of Policy at FreedomWorks Foundation. Patrick is a twice-graduate of George Mason University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Politics and a Master of Public Policy degree.

Johnny Kampis is Director of Telecom Policy for TPA. Kampis is an expert in all things telecom from spectrum policy to government owned networks. Over the course of his nearly 20 years in journalism, he has been published in such outlets as the New York Times, Time, Fox News and The Daily Caller. He is the author of the book “Vegas or Bust: A Family Man Takes on the Poker Pros” (ECW Press, 2018), detailing his adventures at the World Series of Poker.

Abigail Graham is Press Secretary for TPA. Most recently, Abigail served as a Communications Specialist at America First Policy Institute. Prior, she served as the Executive Assistant to Hogan Gidley, White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary. She also has event planning experience for both corporate events and weddings. Abigail is a graduate of Gonzaga University where she received her Bachelors in Public Relations and Promotions.
