TPA Sends Letter to House GOP to Oppose Earmarks

Today, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance sent a letter to the House GOP in support of a conference amendment offered by Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA), which would ban the practice of earmarks in the 118th Congress. Earmarks, also known as pork-barrel spending, are both fiscally irresponsible and ethically dubious. We hope that Republican members will vote against restoring the practice in the new Congress.

TPA Sends Letter to House GOP to Oppose Earmarks

TPA Urges Congress to Practice Fiscal Responsibility During Lame-Duck Session

As the 117th Congress reconvenes today for the lame-duck session, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) urges Congress to practice fiscal responsibility and only focus on passing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and a fiscally responsible budget.
