TPA Submits Comments to CMS on the Physician Fee Schedule Proposed Rule

This week TPA submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding the agency’s calendar year 2023 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) proposed rule. TPA’s concerns mainly focus on payment rate adjustments, CMS’ reluctance to make telehealth changes permanent, and the agency’s lack of adherence to its own average sales price framework.
