Mueller Report….or USPS Audit?

Ross Marchand

April 18, 2019

In light of the release of the Mueller report yesterday, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) team set aside a little bit of time and parsed through the long, tortuous passages of the over-400 page document. We didn’t find anything so far that will “lock him up,” but we did notice something….peculiar about America’s new favorite bedtime story.

You see, we do plenty of work related to the United States Postal Service (USPS), and that agency’s Inspector General (IG) regularly details USPS waste and mismanagement. But much of the information the IG cites is non-public information, leading to the same black highlighter issues seen throughout the Mueller report. Below, we’ve put some Mueller report passages alongside USPS IG passages, to see if you can tell which is which.
