This week, TPA weighed in on four committee hearings in the House of Representatives.

The House Ways and Means Committee held a hearing on the Biden administration’s 2024 trade policy, where we encouraged members to question USTR Tai on digital trade.

Secondly, TPA also weighed in on the House Financial Services Committee hearing on CFPB oversight, urging members to reign in the rogue agency.

Thirdly, TPA sent a letter to the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce, discussing serious issues with the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) and the Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Act (COPPA 2.0) and noting the various ways they will actually increase harm to America’s youth.

Finally, we weighed in on the House Oversight Committee’s Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs Subcommittee hearing on liquified natural gas (LNG), encouraging members to push back on the Biden administration’s LNG rule which will ultimately harm consumers and raise prices.
