TPA Weighs in On FDA and Section 230 Congressional Hearings

This week, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) weighed in on two crucial congressional hearings, sending letters to the House Oversight Committee regarding oversight of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the House Energy and Commerce’s Communications and Technology Subcommittee regarding Section 230. To the Oversight Committee, TPA advocated cutting red tape that keeps Americans from life-saving treatments and opposing efforts to crack down on badly needed harm reduction products. To the Energy and Commerce Committee, TPA emphasized Section 230’s indispensable role as a lynchpin of free online speech, and rebutted many of the myths surrounding the statute.
