Coalition Warns KOSA and ASAA Would Endanger Privacy and Enable Censorship

Today, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance led a coalition of public policy organizations opposing efforts to tie a federal AI proposal to dangerous and unconstitutional digital regulations, the App Store Accountability Act (ASAA) and the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA). In a letter sent to the Senate Commerce Committee, the coalition argued that the ASAA and KOSA would force Americans to expose their personal information to cybercriminals and lead to digital censorship.
