TPA Submits Comments to FTC on Commercial Surveillance and Data Security

The Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) submitted comments to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in response to its proposed rule on Commercial Surveillance and Data Security. TPA submitted comments regarding the prevalence of data security practices, which practices harm consumers, and whether the Commission should pursue regulatory alternatives concerning the ways private companies collect and utilize data.
