TPA Letter: FDA Must Address Regulations on Baby Formula During Shortage

In recent weeks, consumers shopping for baby formula have found largely empty shelves and sparsely-available brands. This has understandably caused confusion and anxiety among families with young children, the majority of whom will feed their infants formula at least once by the time their babies are six months old. To gain a greater understanding of the issues that led to this shortage, TPA President David Williams sent a letter to the Food and Drug Administration with several questions and requests for clarifications.
