TPA Urges St. Petersburg City Council to Reject Taxpayer Funding for Tampa Bay Rays Stadium

Today, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance sent a letter to the St. Petersburg City Council urging them to reject the Tampa Bay Rays’ proposal for a new stadium. This proposal would cost St. Petersburg taxpayers more than $600 million. St. Petersburg Council members should not utilize public resources for a shiny new toy for wealthy sports team owners.
